Jack and Baby Murphy 2.0 as we affectionately call him or her until the 20 week ultrasound (so yes that means we are finding out this time!) will be due around July 15 which just so happens to be our 8th year wedding anniversary. Fingers crossed that it will be a mild July!
Jack seems to be excited about becoming a big brother and with his inquisitive mind he is asking a billion questions about his new sibling. He has been so kind and thoughtful through this whole process and understands that mommy cannot do certain things with him like wrestle or play football until after the baby is born.
Because we are in the middle of winter (that has seemed to be never ending) when we walk outside he is always cautioning me to be careful and to walk slowly because it's "bery, bery slippary"
The other night we were snuggling on the couch and he takes his special blankie of his and lays it on my belly, he then tells me the blanket was for the baby because he/she might be cold.
He is also fascinated by my ever growing belly he is always asking me to pull up my shirt to show him and he thinks that it's hilarious that it is so big. News flash for him it is going to be getting MUCH bigger!
I am currently at 17 weeks and this is my first belly shot with Baby 2.0.
