A Flaggy or a Napkin?

Jack has a brief announcement to make about his future sibling:

About 10 minutes into the ultrasound the sonographer asked if we were ready to know the sex, and she shows this on the screen:

That blob apparently is our baby's little girl parts, and the first thing out of Jack's mouth was, "But I wanted a brother."  He actually took it very well and as you can see in the above video seems very okay that he is to have sister.

Wow, a girl.  I have to be honest I'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed with it all.  I'm thinking girls are going to be way more complicated than boys especially as they get a little older.  With Jack, Bryan was going to be in charge with having those first "talks" about becoming a man and all that.  It's all me for this one!  Then there is the matter of boys.  I was talking to a co-worker who has two boys who are grown now and she shared this piece of wisdom with me.  When you have boys you only have to worry about one penis, but when you have girls you have many more to worry about.  Bryan is already asking my dad for advice.  My dad may be only 5'6 but he had that look that kept the boys and boyfriends intimidated.  Must be an Italian thing! :)

But we are really excited. I'm getting my initial wish of having a boy and a girl, and I am itching to go shopping for all the adorable girl clothes.

Here are a few more shots of our  soon to be daughter:

Looking back at the ultrasound we had with Jack we seemed to have more clearer shots of his face than with this one.  Also this ultrasound took a lot longer which makes me a bit worried, but then again our baby girl would not stop moving the entire time of the ultrasound and the technician verbalized that she was having difficulty getting some of the pictures that she needed because of her wiggling.  Wondering if this is an indication of what the future may hold!
