So I need to pause a moment in my daily account of Ireland to talk about this book that we bought for Jack. I guess it's somewhat related to our trip because we did find it in a bookstore while in Ireland. It is a book called Wonky Donkey and it's by Craig Smith. It's a number one best seller in New Zealand where the author is from, and Jack absolutely fell in love with it.
If you have a 3 to 5 year old you NEED to buy this book. I think any child would get a kick out of it, but it really appeals to those in the preschool age bracket. The book comes with a CD that is a must, and it's a catching little tune about a donkey with 3 legs, one eye, gets into mischief, etc..

I also found a video of the song, that you should check out too before buying the book. But I'm telling you your kid will love it. We read the book twice tonight for Jack, and watched the video twice as well before bed.
Being a typical boy, his favorite part is when the donkey is a stinky-dinky donkey.
