I have been spending much of my 'time off' spring cleaning the house. Yes, I know we are in the summer months, but as a teacher the spring season is when the end of the school year approaches and between preparing and wrapping up loose ends I have barely enough time to do laundry and cook dinner for my family. You do not want to pop in unexpectedly, unless you want to know what it feels like to be on an episode of hoarders.
I try and tackle a room a day and can usually complete it if I spend all day working on it. Well today I decided to tackle our son's room.
I cleaned out his closets, weeded toys, and sorted through his clothes by putting those that are too small into totes.
I was straightening out his bed, when I noticed something on his wall. On closer examination I realize that it was a dried up booger! But wait, not only was there one booger but dozens. Oh my God, my son had a booger wall! And the kicker of it is that he had a box of tissues right behind him on his headboard.
After about 5 minutes of scrubbing with a hot rag his wall was snot free. Needless to say, Jack and I had a heart to heart that night when he was in bed about where we need to put our boogers after they leave our nose. :)
Location of booger wall. This is after I washed and scrubbed.
