So we had a doctor's appointment today to find out our progress. I did have some improvement. I went up a cm, so I am now 3 cm dilated (unfortunately, not the 8 cm I was hoping for! :)) Looks like Baby Murph is very comfy in my belly. I've even tried giving the baby a little pep talk trying to convince him or her how nice it is out here in the world, and that we are really nice people that would love to meet them. On our way to the doctor's I told Bryan, "Maybe I'll be the one pregnant woman who stays pregnant forever."
The good news is we have an appointment on Tuesday to set up a time to get induced, so the baby SHOULD be here sometime next week, if not sooner. At the moment, I'm drinking pineapple juice (a possible labor inducer) and I just had a pretty strong contraction. Whether it's the real deal or not we will see...:)
