All in all it went fairly well. Jack and Abby were awesome, it was cute listening to them have their little conversations and at one point they were even holding hands. Scarlett had some fussy moments when she was overtired and ended up crying herself to sleep.
We took the whole crew to the New England Aquarium in Boston. Bryan and I were able to get free admission through the aquarium's teacher program. For all my teacher friends that are interested in applying here is the link.
Abby loved the penguins, and Scarlett like her brother, was fascinated by the jellyfish.
Bryan took this shot at the touch tank. Think we may be in Patriots Nation?
Today at the aquarium they had many interactive activities for the kids. Down in the jellyfish room they had some coloring and a matching game in which you had to match the baby animals to their mothers.. Jack loved this and the woman running this station was impressed with his listening skills and how he was able to retain facts that she told him only once. Proud momma moment there!
One of the things that I love about the aquarium is that every trip you experience something different. There is a big tank that is in the middle of the aquarium that runs from floor to ceiling. This time around we got a great view of the sea turtles and even got to witness the scuba divers feeding them squid.
Until next time Boston!
