September Stories!

I figure I better post something before the month of September has come and gone!  It's been a busy, busy month (probably why it feels like this month has FLOWN!) my mom came up at the beginning of the month for ten whole days, which was perfect timing since both Bryan and Jack were back at school.

While mom was here Jack,Scarlett and I took her to Treworgy's Apple Orchard, so we could start making some yummy pies. 

 Can you tell I love this place??  We picked two bags of apples, and with that I have made two apples pies thus far, but we are getting low, and I think we may need to make another trip out there soon!

September 10th, Scarlett turned 2 months she is now a pro at smiling and absolutely ADORES her big brother.  Jack will walk into the room (usually talking about something) and she will whip her head around to find him, and when she does she always has this great big smile for him. Jack still continues to amaze me on how well he treats his sister.  The other day we had her on the bed propped up and Jack goes in to give her a hug and accidentally lays on her hand and she started to cry, and poor Jack started crying as well because he hurt her.  I didn't think I could love this kid any more, but everyday he does something that just makes my heart grow fuller.

At her two month check up she weighed 11.4 and was 24 inches long!

Scarlett has also started laughing.  No big belly laughs yet, but squeals of laughter.  She likes to be sung to and have you move her hands about.  She also likes laughing at her new mobile that memere got her.
