April Festivities

It has been a very busy month at the Murphy household.  Jack turned FOUR and we had a small get together with family and friends.  I wanted to do a music theme this year for him since he loves listening and performing.  I felt bad because I didn't do a whole lot of decorating this year, but Jack loved it just the same.  When he walked into the room while I was decorating his comment was, "Oh mommy, the house looks so pretty."  Thankfully he is easy to please.

Jack picked out the cake he wanted: yellow cake, with white frosting with balloons.  Can anyone guess Jack's favortie colors at the moment?  Oh and of course it was a Frank's cake!

 Nonno's turn for a check-up.  His heart sounded good, but Jack found sugar bugs in his ear. :)

 Thank you all for coming and for the gifts.  Jack is truly blessed to have you all in his life.  And a big thank you for my mother-in-law and sister-in-law for all their help.  I couldn't of done it with out you!!

April 17th is his actually birthday and we just had a small celebration with the three of us, but on his birthday we bought him a baseball and glove and a big boy bike.

Unfortunately the bike was too big... His feet couldn't touch the ground and it scared him, so we returned the bike.

*Note to self measure your child first before buying a bike.

It was really hard finding a bike that would fit him.  We tried him out on some 12 inch bikes and he zoomed around the store loving it, but the bike was cheaply made and we wanted something that would last more than a season, and maybe be passed down to his sister when she was ready.  So I hit the internet and found a bike that would fit him now, but with room to grow.

On Sunday we celebrated Easter and Jack was up bright and early to hunt for eggs
