Jack's Milestones

Since the last post, Jack has accomplished a few milestones. He is regularly sleeping from 8:00 pm to around 1:00 am. According to the books, 5 to 6 hours is technically sleeping through the night. Now obviously this isn't the adult equivalent to sleeping through the night, but I can now proudly say my boy is sleeping through the night when asked! :)

Last night, Bryan got up around 3:00 am to use the bathroom, and he asked me if I had fed Jack yet. I answered no and asked him what time it was. When I was told the time, we both if rush to Jack's bassinet to see if he was still breathing . Surely he must not be, but when Bryan poked him he stirred and we both sighed with relief. About 30 minutes later Jack woke to be fed. Hoping this will become routine and not just a one time event.  If so, thanks for the restful night sleep buddy! :)
So Bryan is NOT being sent to the Gulf.  He will be officially out of the Coast Guard on August 5th.  Though the extra income was nice and would of made paying for Jack's daycare a little easier nothing can replace the memories and time together as a family.  Plus, a couple of days ago Jack started giggling at his Daddy and that would not of happened if he was away.  Jack loves his Daddy and thinks he is a pretty funny guy, but so does his Mommy. :)
