Survivng the Winter

We are about a week into spring, but here in Maine winter is holding on tight.  There have a few glimpses of  warm weather, giving us here in the Murphy household hope.  Even our son, Jack who absoultely loves winter said to me today that he is ready to go to the beach.

It's been a rough couple of months.  Both Scarlett and Jack have been taking turns with all sorts of icky sickness. Both Jack and Bryan were hit with a stomach bug and there were some days I didn't think we were going to make it.  But good news is I think the worst is over and today I saw a patch of grass on our front lawn!
