Pumpkins in the Park

Today we took Jack to  Pumpkins in the Park where hundreds of jack O' lanterns are lit up and children dress up in their Halloween best and go around trick or treating.  Jack loved looking at all the lit pumpkins and the giant bouncy house shaped like a firehouse dog.  But the best surprise was Jack meeting a life size Elmo.  The same Muppet he cannot go to sleep without, and who we sing along to in the car.  The look and beaming grin on his face was priceless.  He ran right up to him and just stared adoringly.  We had to pry him away to let the other members of Elmo's fan club have a turn.  Mickey was also there-he kinda got the shaft from Jack.  Sorry Mickey.
